Risk management and ISO 15189:2022

Risk management and ISO 15189:2022

This workshop is offered as a two-day course with open enrolment. This training programme can also be organised at your office.
One of the basic elements of the ISO 15189:2022 is thinking from risk. For many laboratories, performing a risk analysis is a costly and time-consuming activity.
During this training programme, participants will learn how to conduct a risk analysis within their own organisation in a practical and effective manner. The results from this risk analysis will translate into control measures that are embedded in the quality management system allowing patient safety to be increased. This increases both patient and employee safety, and the number of risks within the care process will be reduced and controlled.

Goal

The aim of the workshop is:
  • Identifying risks within the various processes in the laboratory
  • To gain insight into the choices that are made to implement risk management
  • To gain insight into the different methods of applying risk management
  • To be able to use identified risks as input for choices in the quality management system

Approach

Based on presentations and hands-on exercises, you will be introduced to applying risk management in your laboratory.
With a limited number of participants per course, high efficiency levels are achieved. During the course, our educators will make their expertise and experiences fully available to the participants.
